Symmetry assessment

A personal interest and developing strength is the assessment of compensations dynamically in the form of movement, statically in the form of muscular asymmetries and functionally in the form of saddle fit/interaction with the rider. My dissertation investigated the relationship between hoof shape and saddle position noted by the rider. A lot more research is required to fully understand these links, however this in-depth research has aided my assessment of asymmetries in riders and horses hugely, which aids my teaching approach and Physiotherapy assessment.
