Process personal data fairly and lawfully.
Personal data shall be obtained for the specified process of delivering appropriate Veterinary Physiotherapy treatments. This includes relevant veterinary diagnosis and treatments.
Personal data and documents where this is recorded remain property of Kirk Equine Performance and shall not be shared with any third parties, unless express permission is given to do so.
Personal data shall be adequate and kept up to date
Personal data shall be kept for 7 years as part of NAVP requirements.
Personal data and information regarding treatments will be kept in paper form for 7 years after the last transaction.
Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects under the Act.
Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be taken against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data agains accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data.
Personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data.
Payment & Booking regulations
Payment can be made on the day, and is expected to be made within 7 days of treatment and invoice.
A travel charge of 45p/mile will apply to any extra mile over 20 miles from Cheltenham (GL52) or Tewkesbury (GL20), whichever is closer to you.
Cancellation notice of less than 24 hours notice will require full payment unless exemptions are applicable. Clients with multiple late cancellations will have to pay upfront on booking their appointment.
Please contact us to re-arrange your appointment if any of the following apply. These conditions will not be charged a cancellation fee, and we will endeavour to re-arrange a new booking ASAP.
- You or your horse are suffering illness
- You or your horse are suffering from injury. If this is an injury to your horse that has occurred since booking the appointment please contact us or your Vet so we can be sure treatment is in your horse's best interest
- You or your horse are suffering a contagious disease
- You have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or have been contacted by the NHS Test and Trace app.
