In line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and requirements as per NAVP membership,  Kirk Equine Performance uses your personal information in the following ways. 

 

  1. Process personal data fairly and lawfully. 

  2. Personal data shall be obtained for the specified process of delivering appropriate Veterinary Physiotherapy treatments. This includes relevant veterinary diagnosis and treatments. 

  3. Personal data and documents where this is recorded remain property of Kirk Equine Performance and shall not be shared with any third parties, unless express permission is given to do so. 

  4. Personal data shall be adequate and kept up to date 

  5. Personal data shall be kept for 7 years as part of NAVP requirements. 

  6. Personal data and information regarding treatments will be kept in paper form for 7 years after the last transaction. 

  7. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects under the Act. 

  8. Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be taken against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data agains accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data. 

  9. Personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data. 

Payment & Booking regulations

Veterinary Physiotherapy 

1.     Payment can be made on the day and is expected to be made within 7 days of treatment and invoice. 

2.     A travel charge of 50p/mile will apply to travel unless a zone day is applied. 

3.     Cancellation notices of less than 48 hours’ notice will require full payment unless exemptions are applicable (see below). 

4.     Clients with multiple late cancellations will be asked to pay upfront on booking their next appointment. 

5.     Exemptions for cancellation:

-       You or your horse are suffering illness. 

-       You or your horse are suffering from injury. If this is an injury to your horse that has occurred since booking the appointment, please contact your vet and Genevieve Kirk so we can discuss appropriate next.   

-       You or your horse are suffering a contagious disease – this includes skin irritations. 

-       You have tested positive with COVID-19 or have been in proximity with someone who has tested positive. 

Block payments

  1. 5% discount applied on a block of 5 appointments paid for up front. 

  2. 10% discount applied on a block of 10 appointments paid for up front. 

  3. Discounts can be applied when the full amount of 5 or 10 appointments are paid for upfront. All appointments in these blocks must be used within 12 months of payment. 

  4. Blocks of appointments can only be used on one horse. 

  5. Cancellation of appointments in a block:

    • You can cancel/request a refund on your remaining appointments in a block, however, the appointments that have already been used will be charged without discount, and the remaining difference is what will be refunded. 

  6. Travel charge at 50p/mile per appointment (unless zone day is applicable) will be invoiced following each appointment. 

Referrals

  1. 10% discount from your treatment price when you recommend our services to a new client who books an appointment
